On a beautiful summer evening, English New Wave Legends Psychedelic Furs, and James, played the final date of their 2019 U.S. tour. Music fans arrived at the venue early to enjoy the warm summer sun and celebrate with a variety of local spirits at the well-stocked bars located across the amphitheater. The joint Live Nation, Nederlander Production featured a local fitting act, Dear Boys as openers for the show. The young Los Angeles band wrote their first EP, which was released in 2013,

Travis Barker who is best known as the drummer of Blink 182 successfully brought the 12th annual Musink festival to Orange County Fairgrounds, March 8th to 10th. The three-day music, tattoo, and classic car event culminated Sunday with a retro Punk music line up featuring six veteran bands.The fairgrounds somehow provided the perfect backdrop for the uniquely Southern California gathering.
A diverse group of songwriters brought their skills to the Alcazar Theater in Carpinteria, Saturday night November 4th. The intimate acoustic evening was organized by Ones To Watch Productions, the musical promoters who have brought a wealth of Americana music to local venues in Southern California. The historic 200 seat non-profit Alcazar theater, which was recently remodeled boasts accidentally perfect acoustics, due to its architecture. The tiny movie theater which doubles as a live performance hall has been a community treasure in the small town of Carpinteria since it first opened nearly 90 years ago. Volunteers served donated locally brewed beer and wine for $5 a glass and took bids on silent auction items like a surfboard and other surf related items.
Stone Temple Pilots along with Seether and Default kicked off their tour this week in Penticton BC. Where all the bands gave it their all and performed with a lineup that was memorable.
South Okanagan Events Center once again brought an amazing line up of bands to the valley. I came for all three bands Default, music as the bands were part of my life in my teens and 20’s and onward such as Seether.
