Instrumental rockers Maybeshewill recently released their fourth album ‘Fair Youth’ in the US, following last year’s European release and extensive touring. To coincide with the release stateside, the band have launched a video for the track “Sanctuary”, filmed during the aforementioned tour. You can check it out here:
The band had this to say:
“Last year we embarked on the most ambitious tour of our lives across Europe, Asia and Australasia. We took a bunch of cameras with us an attempted to document it in some meaningful way that captured what was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. This video for ‘Sanctuary’ is the result of that.”
As mentioned, ‘Fair Youth’ was recently released in the US officially, with a North American tour to follow in the fall of 2015. Response to the album has been excellent, including an endorsement from long-running indie rock magazine The Big Takeover: “Fair Youth is a perfect example of how imaginative, tasteful, ambitious, striking, and affective instrumental music can be. There isn’t a single moment on here that isn’t remarkable and inspiring, demonstrating the limitless possibilities of what dedicated, talented, and farsighted musicians can do when they work toward a single vision.”
