Since they formed in 2012, The White Raven have been playing live on swedish national radio and become sweethearts of the blogosphere. Their debut release ”Headlights” has passed more than 200 000 streams on Spotify and now they’re releasing the follow-up ”Hold On Light Up”.

Singer Sebastian Wijk, says the song is about the feelings of losing family members. When you think you know how to deal with it but realize you’ve got it all wrong:

”The lyrics are about feelings I had when losing my mother and how going through that made me feel stronger. More specifically, they describe how wrong I was and how I later experienced the exact same things when my father passed. It’s about how people around me said the same things and how I did the same the things, making destructive decisions with the hopes of being able to survive it.”
