Songwriter Sahara Moon Releases New Single “Everything Will Be Alright”

New Jersey singer-songwriter Sahara Moon released “Everything Will Be Alright,” the first track from her forthcoming EP. This beautiful, soft serenade comes as Moon prepares for a busy year of touring throughout the tri-state area.

Sahara Moon is a singer-songwriter who has been making a name for herself playing theatres in New York, Philadelphia, and many other venues throughout the tri-state region and beyond. Sahara’s songwriting has been recognized for the vulnerability within her lyrics as well as her vocal and guitar techniques inspired mainly by artists like Norah Jones and Brandi Carlile. She has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many national acts, including Stephen Kellogg, Robert Cray Band, and Tower of Power.

“After four years of serenading Long Beach Island with her silvery song, the 21-year-old is taking flight, as she releases a new EP and prepares to share the stage with such artists as blues legend Robert Cray and Grammy winner John Hammond” says The Sand Paper who recently interviewed Moon.

Hailing from a small, beach town in New Jersey, Sahara grew up in a musical family and showcased her talents to passerby on the streets of Long Beach Island. Sahara has been grateful to experience what it means to inspire other artists, support foundations, and to be a part of a strong community. In 2018, she curated The Sunshine Series as an acoustic, singer-songwriter showcase to allow local artists to flourish in their craft. Moon continued writing, booking, and performing with an occasional surprise guest; her sister, Zinnia Moon. Together, they established The Moon Sisters with their charming harmony and presence on stage. Sahara has the ability to heal and enchant throughout her musical compositions and elaborate performances.

Sahara has a busy schedule of shows ahead, opening for five-time Grammy Award-winning blues musician Robert Cray at the Keswick Theatre on Feb 29 and for Grammy winner John Hammond in Long Beach Township. She’ll also be opening for the renowned R&B group Tower of Power in NYC on March 26 and will be playing the Mayday Music Festival where she will share the main stage with such acts as the Spin Doctors, Deer Tick and Justin Townes Earle. “I’ve done over 430 shows in the last four years,” says Moon. “I’m grateful to have had this time and experience working with different crowds of people. I think I’m ready.” See a full list of tour dates below.
