MAX on the meaning behind the song said, “I wrote this song after my wife was tired of living with my parents so we got our own spot and bam things got much better. We wanted that extra layer of Funk spice to bring the song to the next level. Who better than Chromeo the funk lordz themselves. It’s a fun record but it also has an underlying message of treating the person you love the way the deserve. Happiness in a relationship only really comes when both partners are getting what they need. Make that checklist baby.”

Checklist is the follow up to MAX’s smash hit single “Love Me Less” featuring Quinn XCII. The single has been unstoppable since debuting earlier this year. It reached #17 at Top 40 Pop Radio, has over 130 million streams worldwide, and continues to garner over 5 million streams per week.
