KIALLA, debuted their first music video of the year for their song “Lies,” off their recent album RARE. In this latest artistic endeavor, the young duo continues to push the boundaries of what is expected. From the ominous and hypnotic beat to the raw subtle emotions boiling under the surface, this video fluidly captures it all. The video was shot in Chicago, Illinois where they reside and continue to draw daily inspiration and aspirations from.

KIALLA is composed of KIA, a vocalist, and producer, along with VIA, an early female artist with her roots in the Russian hip-hop community. As “foreigners making illegal sounds” the two are proud immigrants speaking truth to power with restless ambition. They are not defined by, but informed by their decisions and experiences as immigrants, and utilize this to startling effect.
