Sparks Share beautiful Stop Motion Video for “Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)”

Sparks (Californian brothers Ron and Russell Mael) have just released their beautiful video for “Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me),” the latest single from their upcoming album Hippopotamus – out September 8 via BMG.

The stop-motion video for “Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)” was meticulously directed and designed by animator / puppeteer Joseph Wallace, pairing his visually arresting animation with Sparks’ musically uplifting, yet, lyrically melancholic track.

“Perfectly capturing the mood of the song Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me), the video is also a rapturous work of art in its own right. Perhaps Sparks’ best video ever.” – Ron and Russell Mael, Sparks
