The Atlanta via New Orleans crooner is back with a Brand New visual directed by Ryan Snyder titled “Heavenly Body” featuring Rick Ross. The track “Heavenly Body” is another must-listen from this EP. Lloyd’s melodies are the perfect complement to Rick Ross’ verse. Rozay spits, “I’m the man, I’m the man, cellphone jumping/And I’m thumbing through a hundred grand (Hustling)/We the richest in the city/Fighting fire cases Mayweather in the building/Chicks showing me love but you’re the only one I crave/Since back in the day before Lloyd grew out his braids.”
Lloyd spoke with BET back in August about his new project. “‘TRU’ is about being a fighter. It’s about speaking truthfully and honestly on your life and not shying away from your imperfections,” Lloyd says. “It’s really about embracing the idea that there’s never failure. There is only lessons to be learned and character to be built. I wanted to shed light on that and I wanted to go towards that light and not run away from it.”
“Heavenly Body” is off the recently released ‘TRU’ ep available now on iTunes, Spotify & Google Play
