Carley Austin Releases “Through Her Eyes” Single & Video

Carley AustinSydney artist, Carley Austin, will be releasing her debut single ‘Through Her Eyes’ with the The A&R Department, on September 4th 2015.

The 21 year old has been performing since a very young age, and has gathered a lot of experience in the performing arts Industry. After being in a band for 5 years, the singer decided to go solo and take her career to a new level, developing a unique style that could reflect her true self.

Carley has really been creating a buzz in her local area of the Hills District, Sydney. In 2014, Carley placed 1st in the ‘Hills Homegrown Competition’ sponsored by Event Cinemas and The Hills Shire Times. She then came 2nd in the ‘Hills Got Talent’ Competition sponsored by The Peak Agency and Hillside Hotel. However her most successful competition to date, was the ‘Busking at the Brewery’ competition where she came 1st, winning a music release with The A&R Department, working alongside industry professional Matt O’Connor.

With a background of acoustic/folk roots, Carley has spent the last two years creating a fresh sound; blending her soft, heart-felt tones with ambient, electronic production.

Having a passion for creating original and distinctive sounds, she has worked with local producers ‘Studio Sonik’ – producing music with inspirations of Banks, George Maple, Flume, Kilo Kish and Lana Del Rey.

The song is about loss of identity, and direction… It is a very honest song”…Says Carley on writing the song.

“I wrote the song around 2 years ago…. although I need to develop myself as a songwriter, I believe the lyrics in ‘Through Her Eyes’ will truly connect with people.” 

With A blend of smooth, ambient, electronic production and warm delicate vocal tones, Carley Austin will capture you within a few seconds of listening to her sing.
