Toronto producer Grandtheft has announced his debut EP, Quit This City, coming this Fall on Pirates Blend (Canada) and Mad Decent (Internationally). The 7-song project is his first cohesive body of work and blends elements of hip-hop, soul, dancehall and new wave with his dance music expertise. He sought out to create songs that you could listen to at home, on the road, or on the dance floor, living not only in his regular dance lane but also as artful music to listen to on your downtime. The EP explores his own creative boundaries and sets the tone for future Grandtheft releases to come. Grandtheft has become one of music’s most in-demand producers over the past few years. He has established an eclectic and diverse sound throughout multiple genres, recognized for his ability to continuously adapt his sound and stray away from typical production trends.
