KOI Music Festival Announces First Round of Programming Feauring letlive, I See Stars, Hawthorne Heights and More

KOI Music FestivalThe sixth annual KOI Music Fest will once again be transforming Kitchener’s downtown core into a musical mecca, bringing big-name musical guests to the tri-cities from September 25th – 27th 2015. KOI Music Fest is thrilled to announce its first round of programming for this years festival, which includes letlive., I See Stars, Hawthorne Heights and more.

New additions to this year’s festivities will include ‘The KOI Battle’ (in partnership with Maxwell’s Music), which features local bands battling it out for an opportunity to perform on the mainstage. As well, this year will see the introduction of ‘The Road to KOI’, a lead up tour that features KOI artists journey to the festival. Fans can also look forward to the return of the Acoustic Brunch series where main stage bands play raw and intimate acoustic sets over breakfast. KOI has emerged as one of the fastest growing indie music festivals in Canada, getting bigger and better every year. “2015 is our sixth year of bringing the best in independent music to the region,” says Cory Crossman, co-founder and Executive Director of KOI Music Festival. “We’re looking forward to further growing the festival to meet the levels of excitement we’ve seen for the five years previous. This is only the first of many announcements to come.”
