MAX Joins Fall Out Boy & Wiz Khalifa on Boys of Zummer Tour + MUST SEE VIDEOS

MaxRiding high on the mega-success of his new single “Gibberish,” MAX has just been announced as the special guest on the Boys of Zummer tour with Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen. The tour runs for three months, early June through the end of August through 47 major North American markets. MAX said:

“I’m so stoked to announce I’m joining Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, & Hoodie Allen on the Boys of Zummer Tour this summer! How awesome is that?! I’ll be playing ‘Gibberish’ live each night, and hanging out…so come say hi! To celebrate, I put together this medley using songs from everyone on the tour.”

The new Boys of Zummer medley features Wiz’s “See You Again” and “Young, Wild & Free,” Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” Uma Thurman,” and “Dance, Dance” and Hoodie’s “All About It” and “No Interruption.” He closes with his own single, “Gibberish,” which is only .69 cents on iTunes.

MAX was one of a handful artists handpicked by YouTube to shoot an exclusive video for his new single, “Gibberish (feat. Hoodie Allen).” As part of the elite YouTube Music Awards program, MAX was in good company with Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, Shamir, Migos and a cadre of other high-profile musicians. “Gibberish” is now over 5 million views on YouTube and 4 million plays on Spotify. VICE’s Creators Project spoke with Director Greg Jardin about his technically tricky and stylistically excellent video which seamlessly combines MAX moving forward in a single-take while the female lead and dance team move completely in reverse.

MAX is a New York City-born pop-soul singer, actor & dancer who recently signed to Pete Wentz’s label, DCD2. Following in the footsteps of pop moguls Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, MAX’s powerful acrobatic tenor commands attention. He recently toured with Hoodie Allen and his recent single “Puppeteer” racked up over half a million YouTube views upon release.

Previous single “Mug Shot” was featured in the Veronica Mars film, soundtrack and in the wide release theatrical trailer. MAX also stars as Van Dyke Parks in the upcoming Beach Boys biopic “Love & Mercy.” The film, directed by Bill Pohlad, also stars John Cusack, Paul Dano, Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti. MAX’s devoted fanbase and original voice has given him an incredibly strong social media presence with over 1 million followers on YouTube, 350,000 followers on Twitter and over 850,000 likes on Facebook.

MAX has been in the studio working on his forthcoming full-length album for DCD2. Details will follow soon.
