Timbre Timbre RemixTimber Timbre releases two remixes of songs from its widely acclaimed album Hot Dreams. Arts & Crafts label-mate Absolutely Free turns in a stellar dub version of the title track, accompanied by a bizarre remix video by Chris Boni that re-imagines the steamy original “Hot Dreams” video by Scott Cudmore & Michael Leblanc. Dark new-age psych-siblings DOOMSQUAD delve into an entrancing rendition of the album’s second single “Curtains?!”, featuring the vocals of Simone Schmidt (Fiver, One Hundred Dollars). The trio of Toronto and Montreal-based bands offer this collaboration to fans as a FREE DOWNLOAD.

This remix package comes hot on the heels of the existential Cudmore & Leblanc-directed video for Hot Dreams song “Grand Canyon”, and in conjunction with Timber Timbre’s second European tour this year, including sold-out shows at La Bataclan in Paris and Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. The band will return to Canada to cap off up a hugely successful 2014 with a three night stand at Lee’s Palace in Toronto starting December 11, with guests Fiver, Sean Nicholas Savage, and Last Ex. This will be Timber Timbre’s first Toronto appearance since headlining the legendary Massey Hall in May. All upcoming performances can be found HERE.

Earlier this week, Hot Dreams album track Run From Me was featured four times on NBC’s The Blacklist and the song also made its way onto the trailer for Lifetime’s Big Driver by Stephen King.  Timber Timbre’s latest album has earned rave reviews from Billboard, TIME, Nylon, The Guardian, Esquire, and a spot on this year’s Polaris Music Prize Short List.

**** Beginning November 8 in Brooklyn, Absolutely Free will join rising Toronto pop outfit Alvvays on a twenty-two date coast-to-coast North American tour that includes Canadian stops in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. All tour dates can be found HERE.
