The Head and the Heart’s Release “Let’s Be Still” (official video)

the head and the heartThe Head and the Heart’s sophomore album Let’s Be Still was released last October to hungry critics and fans alike who were awaiting the follow up to their self-titled breakout debut which featured such hits as “Lost in My Mind” and “Down in the Valley”. Since the albums release last year the band has been touring throughout the US, wowing crowds with their rowdy and inspiring live show and new and old songs alike. Now the band has taken a pause, releasing the fantastical video for their album’s title track, “Let’s Be Still” featuring some Mary Poppins-esque moments as well as a magical hot air balloon ride. The video was conceived by the band’s own Jonathan Russell and directed by Jon Jon Augustavo.

“We are really excited to finally see this video come to light after many months of dedicated work by all involved. Jon and his crew were top notch and it was an unforgettable experience watching and participating in the process step by step through their ability to execute the idea and make it a reality,” offered Jonathan Russell on behalf of the entire band.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to see the band perform live, CBS This Morning will feature the band performing on their November 1st episode and the band will be touring the US throughout the month of December. Full list of tour dates below.
