Returning for its seventh summer on the shores of Lake Okanagan July 25 – 27, Monster Energy Center of Gravity (MECOG) announces a series of site upgrades making this year’s festival the best yet.
Featuring the largest cryo system of any festival in the province, MECOG crowds will experience 10 jets pumping out over 4000 lbs of smoke effects. Organizers have also added over 300 panels of LED video wall, over 200 lighting fixtures, and close to 100 cabinets of world class-sound; all in addition to bringing in MECOG’s largest stage ever — the SAM555 – the widest and highest rainproof mobile stage trailer in the world. The improved staging and sound is the perfect complement to scheduled live performances by some of the top artists in pop, rock, hip hop and EDM, including Calvin Harris, Chromeo, J. Cole, and Tegan and Sara. (Tickets and details: http://centerofgravity.ca/)
