Pop Evil Land Their Second #1 Single of 2013 “Deal With the Devil”

Grand Rapids, Michigan’s own POP EVIL have landed their second number one single this year; with “Deal With The Devil.” 

This is the band’s second #1 Active Rock single of the year, their first single “Trenches” held the #1 spot for three straight weeks in July. Frontman Leigh Kakaty weighs in on the exciting news

POP EVIL’s year has been a busy one. With nearly 200 shows under their belt in 2013, the band has already announced dates for early next year supporting rock powerhouse, STONE SOUR. The band is on the road right now with supporting acts YOUNG GUNS, GIRL ON FIRE and ERA 9.

The band recently debuted a remix version of their #1 Active Rock single “Trenches,” remixed by legendary hip-hop pioneer Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels.

The brand new “Trenches” remix will be included on a super deluxe version of “Onyx,” which will be released tomorrow, December 17th. Pre-orders are available now. POP EVIL would like to let fans know that a special surprise will also be debuted on the same day.

POP EVIL released “Onyx,” their third studio LP earlier this year Accolades continue to pile up as the band releases their most comprehensive material to date.

Onyx” debuted at #39 on the Billboard Top 200 and #9 on the Independent Chart. With over 10,000 copies sold in the first week of release, this makes “Onyx” the most successful first week in the band’s history. This milestone is the latest in the band’s hard working radio career. POP EVIL has landed a total of 4 Top 10 Active Rock singles and 3 Top 5 Rock Singles on their last album, “War Of Angels.”
