Scion Sessions Present Neon Windbreakers December 6th at Sneaky Dee’s

neon windbreakerNothing like a little noise-rock from Neon Windbreaker to get your blood flowing and warm your bones on a cold December night! On Friday, December 6th, Scion Sessions will present the Toronto five-piece at Sneaky Dee’s (with guests Nice Head, WTCHS, and Pink Wine). The band will be celebrating the release of their EP New Sky, with Scion Sessions presenting the EP on a special 7” vinyl record. The album features five never before heard songs from the band – James Bud, Younger, Nails, New Sky, and Pink Suit. Have a listen to the frenetically catchy James Bud here. Visit for the chance to win entry to the show and a copy of the 7”.

“For Neon Windbreaker to be involved with such a cool program takes the artist experience to a new level,” said Neon Windbreaker lead singer, Eric Warner. “Scion Sessions is supporting rising and established Canadian talent by letting the artist give direction as opposed to taking it; an approach that I think has and continues to work in incredible ways!”

Neon Windbreaker is an outrageously exciting five-piece, treading the spidery line between noise-rock abandon and melodic structure. Having formed in the spring of 2010, they have played across Canada and the United States alongside Pissed Jeans, Do Make Say Think, Male Bonding, DD/MM/YYYY, Monotonix, This Will Destroy You and many more. Their new EP New Sky is five tracks long and clocks in at under seven and half minutes. A frantic burst of uninhibited creativity, the tracks are chaotic and unpredictable without being needlessly abrasive or obtuse.
