With their thirteenth album, Battle Maximus, just released on Metal Blade Records (which is by far my favorite GWAR album), and a tour under way, they are ripping up the metal scene by storm. Lest we not forget the petition demanding that GWAR perform at the 2015 NFL Super Bowl halftime show. With nearly 40,000 signatures already attained, GWAR are urging human fans to keep the signatures coming- we talked about the petition, in the stage of the pop music industry, and why you should vote for Gwar.
