“It’s the melody that lift up the lyrics, not the opposite. People tend to forget that fact”

Writing songs from start to finish during rehearsal is not the usual procedure for Stockholm-based indie outfit Georgian Waters, but that’s exactly how their new single “Data Girl” was made. The song’s melody combined with the band playing around with drum sounds , vocal samples and samba percussions resulted in track described by the band as “a space trip through trance pop and club fog” .

Georgian Waters has previously released the acclaimed singles “Midsummer Air” and “What’s In Your Heart” . “Data Girl” is the first single from the EP released in late May.
