“Final curtain” describes a typical situation of a mistake, a fuck up, and the argument that unleashes afterwards. However, the protagonist realises that he does not feel remorse, because he knows he had to go through with it. Without the ability to apologise for an action that has hurt someone close to him, the argument is bound to end in a deadlock. He tries to escape to bed and shuts the final curtain.
